MirroScope
Product operations
The MirroScope is a digital mouth mirror, giving your patient a clear picture of his dental condition. It makes it a lot easier to help the patient understand what the treatment plan entails when he can see it himself.
The mirror and camera surface stays fog free at all times, due to the sophisticated air spray.
The storage options for photos and the computer connection make it feasible to store the photos in your files and simply document the treatment steps that were taken.
The work field can be turned, mirrored or reversed, depending on your individual preference. After some getting used to, you can also use the mirror to avoid back problems. By looking at the pictures directly on the LCD computer screen you can avoid bending over to look in the mouth of the patient.
Q&A
Do I need to change my way of working?
The MirroScope camera is built into a mouth mirror and is comparable with the traditional way of working. However, you can teach yourself to look at the pictures on the screen instead of mirror. This relieves tension in the back muscles and subsequent back aches.
Do I need to continue using my lamp?
You can keep using it, but shining the lamp directly into the mouth of the patient can cause condensation of the picture. A solution could be to shine the lamp at the patient’s chest or chin. In any case, the MirroScope provides adequate light through the built in light source and makes additional light sources unnecessary.
